This is a such a clever recipe, it has all the flavors of Thanksgiving dinner in a soup. It is one of those priceless downhome cookin' family recipes. Thank you to Susie for submitting this creative soup, I could have never thought of this. I'm sure it would work great with chicken or beef if you don't have any turkey lying around.

Susie's sort of made up recipe from her Mom's made up recipe for Turkey Soup. I LOVE Thanksgiving dinner, and usually this is made with the frozen or fresh leftovers to taste. In the parenthesis I've included options.
Turkey Broth & some water(or broth from a can)
Turkey Gravy(or one cup brown gravy)
Green bean casserole (bag of peas and carrots with cream of mushroom soup)Potatoes(mashed, baked, or frozen)
3 or 4 tablespoons of Grandmas Baked onions in sauce(flakes, frozen or freshly cooked with a little heavy cream)
Celery cut in small pieces
Optional:
*Little bit of cranberry sauce
*salt and pepper to taste
*pinch of oregano and sage
This is made in a 9 liter pot, cook until boiling, let cook on low heat for at least 25 minutes. I put in whatever needs to cook the longest first, and serve hot!
